Welcome Dr. Jeremy Brandwein!
Born and bred in Queens, NY, Dr. Jeremy Brandwein earned his DDS degree at the Touro College of Dental Medicine in Valhalla, NY in 2021. There, he was inducted as a member of the OKU National Dental Honor Society, the country’s national dental honor society which offers admission to top U.S. graduating dentists. Following graduation, he completed the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center Residency Program in General Dentistry, in Jamaica, NY, where he pursued advanced training in general dentistry, including emergency dental medicine.
Dr. Brandwein is passionate about providing gentle, top-quality dental care, and ensuring that even the most nervous of patients feel comfortable and at ease during treatment. Committed to continuing education, Dr. Brandwein ensures that he is up to date with the latest advances in dental technology and techniques, so that he can provide the best possible care for his patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Brandwein enjoys hiking, cooking, listening to podcasts, and most of all, spending time with his wife and three children.
Welcome Dr. Camilo Leal
Albion Family Dental is thrilled to announce the joining of Camilo Leal, DDS, MSc to our team.
Dr. Leal was born in Bogota, Colombia. He received his DDS degree from El Bosque University School of Dentistry in Bogota, Colombia, where he also completed a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency. He then opened a successful private practice in Bogota, exclusive to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, where he practiced for over 14 years. Dr. Leal also served as a clinical professor at El Bosque University, and in addition, was a sought-after instructor and lecturer in various training programs in dental implants, teaching advanced techniques to hundreds of dentists in Latin America and around the world.
Dr. Leal moved to the USA in 2014 and completed an additional four-year dental program at Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH) at the University of Rochester. He went on to become a full-time Assistant Professor at EIOH in clinical dentistry and dental surgery, teaching the residents surgical techniques for extractions and dental implants among others. Currently he holds privileges in clinical dentistry at the Strong Hospital URMC in Rochester, NY. Outside the office, Dr. Leal enjoys flying planes, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Leal has dedicated his life to the field of oral surgery, teaching colleagues and helping patients for 25 years. He is feeling blessed to be sharing his dedication and experience with our wonderful community at Albion Family Dental.
Dr. Leal is offering oral surgery services such as third molar (“Wisdom Teeth”) extractions, and dental implant surgeries right here in our office. Please ask us about these services or to schedule a consultation with Dr. Leal.
